Family Owned & Operated
Wiepke “Whip” Lycklama founded Whip’s Carpentry in Burlington, Ontario in 1981 as a display manufacturer for a national cookie company. In 1995, Whip and his son, Mike Lycklama, partnered with Neil Balter of Organizers Direct Industries to produce closet, garage, and other home organization systems.
Still family-owned and operated, Whip's Carpentry now operates a total of 130,000 square feet of manufacturing space serving over 300 authorized ODI dealers across Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Cayman Islands.

Manufacturing Facilities
Our Company
Two North American Manufacturing Plants
Having two redundant factories, one on each side of the continent, allows us to better serve customers across the US and Canada.
Canadian Factory
Located outside of Toronto in Burlington, Ontario, our Canadian factory currently accounts for approximately 80% of our production. The operation consists of a 71,000-square-foot manufacturing facility with multiple CNC machines as well as a sizable offsite warehouse.
US Factory
At 57,000 square feet, our US factory in Phoenix, Arizona currently serves most of our Southwestern US customers and is expanding quickly.
